With median home prices of over a $1 million, the neighborhood tends to see high dollar sales each year. A 10,000 square foot English Tudor-style mansion that sold for a record-breaking $9.6 million in 2023.
Biltmore Forest's inception in the 1920s led to over 100 homes being built within the community during that era, and many of the original lots were 3-5 acres of land. Colonial Revival, Craftsman and Tudor style elements are common in the architecture of homes within the community. Many additional homes were built in the 1950s and 60s. The neighborhood contains mid-century modern homes and even ranch-style homes. Any new construction requires falls under strict building requirements.
Golf &Country Club
Boasting a 47,495 square foot clubhouse which is positioned on 135 acres, the Donald Ross designed Biltmore Forest Golf and Country Club opened in 1922. The clubhouse includes Jake's Bar, Golf Pro Shop, locker rooms, dining rooms, a Men's Locker Room Bar, and 24 bedrooms. In 2023, the Club opened an Athletic Complex with a 25-yard pool, Pool Grill & Outdoor Bar, in addition to a fitness area with weight machines, treadmills, and a tennis facility.
The Biltmore Forest Country Club is a "by invitation only" club. It has been recognized as a Platinum Club of America and has draw visits from Bobby Jones, John D. Rockefeller, William Jennings Bryan, William Howard Taft, and Calvin Coolidge among other popular names.

Biltmore Forest is zoned for the T.C Roberson High School, Valley Springs Middle School, and William W. Estes Elementary School.
Biltmore Forest has its own public services department which is responsible for trash and recycling services, and water services. The town also has its own police force.
