Black Mountain Center for the Arts

The aforementioned Black Mountain Center for the Arts (BMCA) is where artists, musicians, and thespians come to share their creativity with this community. Established in 2000, this organization has ongoing exhibits showcasing everything from sculpture to photography to painting, as well as a theater for plays, storytelling, and musical performances.

The Black Mountain Center for the Arts also offers classes and workshops for community members (youth and adults alike) interested in all forms of artistic expression, including dance, yoga, poetry, painting, and piano. Located in the heart of downtown in a beautifully renovated century-old building, this institution is the creative heartbeat of the community!
