Born in South Florida, Tyler spent his early years immersed in the vibrant culture and music of Miami before moving with his family to Durham, NC. He pursued his passion for music at East Carolina University, studying jazz performance on trumpet. Since then, Tyler has been performing professionally on bass guitar and trumpet and has taught beginner guitar and piano.

After living in the quaint town of Boone for a couple of years, Tyler made Asheville his home in 2014. Joining the GreyBeard team in 2026, Tyler’s passion for the mountains and his local creative community has driven him to help others discover their own dream homes in the beautiful Western NC region. 

In his free time, this father of two boys can be found exploring hiking and mountain biking trails, discovering new water spots, or making music.
