When Kathy Begley came to work at Ridgecrest as a college student summer staffer in 1974, she never dreamed she would leave Louisiana where she grew up. Kathy fell in love with the area, has raised her children here, and made the Asheville area her home for more than 45 years.
Kathy‘s employment interests have been varied, first working in a bank credit department and then opening her own office and computer supply store in Black Mountain working with local companies and organizations including Gerber and Buncombe County Schools. After 14 years of operating every aspect of this woman-owned business, Kathy sold the company and became a Mary Kay Sales Director.
Four years later, in 2005, Kathy obtained her Realtor’s license and began working in Asheville, Black Mountain, and surrounding areas, joining Greybeard Realty in 2009. Kathy appreciates what the area offers and enjoys working with first-time home buyers, assisting those selling their property or land, and people moving to the Asheville area. “I really like trying to help make the process as smooth as possible and make my clients comfortable throughout the process.”
