Grovemont Homes for Sale

Founded in 1924 by the famous architect of the Grove Park Inn, E.W. Grove, Grovemont was one of the first planned communities in the United States and located in the heart of Swannanoa, NC. The neighborhood converges around Grovemont Square which is the home to a children's playground, a beautiful tulip garden, a gazebo, picnic area, outdoor exercise equipment, a walking trail, and fronts the Swannanoa Library. In the early days of the neighborhood, executives from the former Beacon Manufacturing Company would purchase homes in the neighborhood. A handful of homes in the neighborhood are stone homes built in the style of the Grove Park Inn. While historic homes are within the neighborhood, there are a variety of home styles represented from brick ranch style homes to craftsman style.  Grovemont is conveniently located in between Black Mountain and Asheville with close proximity to Owen Middle School and W.D Williams Elementary School.
