We love the little town of Black Mountain and decided it would be a great place to move to when we got ready to retire. We were looking for a home that we could age in place in and decided that we might want to build our own home to incorporate all those ideas. If you've ever tried to look for land on-line you know how challenging that can be. Chip Craig was the perfect resource for helping us. He listened to what we said we wanted and lined up a variety of lots to start looking at. When we found houses we thought might work he was helpful with that too. He was quick to get back to us when we had questions, checked out the ideas we found on-line and could tell us just how far out of town it would be. So if you're looking for the local expert, Chip is the best.

My family recently purchased a new home with Sunday and had an excellent experience. We live in Florida and Sunday did an excellent job arranging viewings for us (some at very short notice) and once we found our property, Sunday worked us through the entire process remotely. Sunday was knowledgeable about the WNC area and made great recommendations of companies to support the purchase process, such as lawyers etc. We would highly recommend Sunday to anyone and would use her again (without question) if we were to purchase another property in the area.

Sunday Grant enabled my wife and I to make an informed and careful decision when finding our new home in the Black Mountain area. We purchased our mountain home last October and earlier this year Greybeard assumed the property management details. They came highly recommended and to date have earned this accolade. ?Greybeard has made sharing our cabin with others a pleasure for us as well as our guests. There are so many letters left that show us how our guests arrive expecting/ anticipating a great holiday - because the experience of just making their reservation has been so welcoming! The way the cabin feels for them when they arrive is exactly what we wanted to provide. Cheerful, warm, loving, cozy…. partly of course, that's the cabin, but keeping it spotless and organized and ready and smelling fresh...that's Greybeard. We especially appreciated the story our visitor shared about being snowed and frozen in…Greybeard staff brought coffee, pastries, extra blankets - absolutely spoiled them with the little things that made cuddling up for several days a superb alternative to the hiking they planned. And things break sometimes - the water heater needed replacement, the carpenter ants invaded, the hot tub cover broke down. Greybeard takes these things on with such grace and efficiency. It keeps us from worrying about things, and keeps the cabin open and operating. We don't take for granted the effort made to just keep the cabin full. The increasingly creative marketing is making a difference in the number of days the cabin is occupied. Last year it was over 200 days we think. Nice work!
